Benefit for school classes & clubs
We support many school classes and clubs by buying used clothes and shoes that they have received through street collections, setting up a collection container or other donations or collections. Commissions and rental income can be obtained also by the procurement of locations for container set-up. Furthermore we regularly organize competitions in which school classes and clubs can win high quality prizes, in addition to weight-based remuneration.
Collection criteria – what may be included in the used clothes and shoes collection and what may not: As for used clothes:
The following may be included:
- Wearable clothes (pants, T-shirts, blouses, shirts, coats, jackets, sweaters etc.)
- Curtains
- Bags
- Belts
- Bed springs (pillows, blankets)
- Bed linen
The following may be included in normal household quantities:
- Textile toys
- Table cloths
- Towels
- Wool blankets
- Underwear
The following must not be included (intended for disposal):
- Wet, putrid, moldy items
- Extremely dirty and damaged goods
- Foam
- Scraps of cloth
- Electric appliances
- Mattresses
- Carpets
- Any garbage
- Blankets and pillows with foam filling
- Plastic toys
- Suitcases
Used shoes:
The following may be included:
- Wearable shoes – sports shoes, men’s shoes, children’s and women’s shoes, winter and summer shoes should be included in a healthy mix!
The following may be included in normal household quantities:
- Rubber boots
- We can also accept shoes made of hard plastic, but this must be clarified individually before delivery and items must be packed separately:
○ Ice skates
○ Inline skates
○ Ski boots
The following must never be included (intended for disposal):
- Single shoes
- Totally dirty shoes
- Broken shoes (sole sagging or with upper cover broken)
- Any garbage
We strongly advise you to observe the collection criteria and to comply with them. Otherwise we reserve the right to refuse deliveries. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if anything is unclear!
