Legal Compliance for Municipalities
As a certified waste management company, we ensure all textiles are processed in full compliance with the German Circular Economy Act (KrWG).
04
Financial Benefits for Associations
We help non-profit organizations easily turn their textile collections into funding for charitable and community projects.
We Offer Two Collection Options for New Partners

1. faircollect Door-to-Door Collection
We provide you with several hundred free flyers to distribute. Households place their used clothing and shoes, securely packed, outside their front doors so that you can collect them at the agreed time.
If you have any questions about how the collection process works, the faircollect team is always happy to assist you.
2. faircollect Collection Containers
Once you are familiar with the faircollect concept, you can identify suitable locations for our attractive and user-friendly used clothing and shoe collection containers. After receiving written permission from the property owner, the containers can be installed immediately. Once in place, you simply empty the deposited clothing and shoes on a regular basis.
GLAESER-textil covers the cost of purchasing the collection containers. This allows you to focus entirely on finding new locations and servicing the containers regularly.

"
We consider every kilogram of textiles an investment in our environment. Through our purchasing program, we ensure that clothing is not disposed of through incineration but is instead kept in the material recycling cycle for continued reuse and recovery.

How is the price determined?
Our offer and payment are based on the current market price per kilogram. Your textiles are weighed on-site, and payment is calculated according to the total weight.
Do you offer collection services?
Yes. For businesses, associations, and household clearances involving larger quantities, we are happy to arrange an individual collection appointment. Private individuals are asked to use our collection points or textile collection containers.
What types of textiles and shoes do you purchase?
We purchase a wide range of textiles, including good-quality, wearable clothing such as trousers, T-shirts, blouses, shirts, coats, jackets, and sweaters. We also accept household textiles such as curtains, feather-filled pillows and duvets, bags, and belts. Shoes are accepted as long as they are provided in matching pairs.
Where can I drop off used clothing?
For smaller quantities, most municipalities provide public collection containers operated by local authorities or charitable organizations. If you would like to sell larger quantities of used clothing or shoes, you can arrange to deliver them directly to our facility in Ulm by prior appointment. Please contact us in advance to organize the delivery.
Can I sell textiles from a household clearance?
Yes. We gladly accept larger quantities of textiles and shoes from household clearances, provided they are clean and in good condition. Depending on the volume, you can either deliver them to our facility in Ulm by appointment or request a collection service. Please contact us beforehand so we can arrange the details and confirm the acceptance requirements.
How should I dispose of unwanted clothing?
Since 1 January 2025, the separate collection of textile waste has been mandatory for all households under the EU Waste Framework Directive and the German Circular Economy Act (KrWG). As a result, reusable clothing and shoes should no longer be disposed of in household waste. Instead, they should be placed in designated textile collection containers so they can be reused or recycled.
